Nissa Deck Elf Warrior Tokens

My Planeswalker Jousting Nissa Deck uses

Imperious Perfect

to create some

But since my tokens are specifically for a Nissa deck…

You can choose between a Terry Pratchett elf quote and a J.R.R. Tolkien elf quote! Now isn’t that just Perfect? Imperiously so!

I’m also going to include a link to this nifty little token, which would fit right into my deck, with art by some guy named The Blue Monkey or diosboss, because I had a hard time finding it again:

Tezzeret Tokens

I recently acquired Tezzeret the Schemer for my Tezzeret Planeswalker Jousting deck:

As you can see, this Tezzeret needs some support: Etherium Cell tokens and a Tezzeret Emblem. I have three options for the Etherium Cell—a flux capacitor, a lightsaber hilt, or the ultimate in battery power: the Energizer Bunny!

For the emblem, I’m thinking why not use classic 5/5 Artifact Creatures that you just lay over the artifact being transformed (can you identify these classics?):

Zombie Tokens

I don’t know if I really like that the mummies in Amonkhet are classified as zombies. I mean, sure, technically, that’s probably accurate enough, and in the classic movies, the mummies do act a bit like zombies, but still, is the world not big enough to have both mummies and zombies? At any rate, I was playing my Liliana deck the other day, and I realized that I hadn’t made any zombie tokens for it yet. My two favorite zombie franchises are the Plants vs. Zombies video game and the Lord of the Fries card game. So, I borrowed from those to make my zombie tokens (apparently, there aren’t many varieties of zombies in Magic-land—they are usually just 2/2s):

Or, if you prefer a more traditional frame:

And finally, the Lord of the Fries version:

Enjoy! (And don’t let them eat your brains!)

Kaladesh Tokens

Kaladesh is basically a steampunk plane, and my favorite steampunk world is the Girl Genius comic by Phil Foglio. I’ve started making some Girl Genius-themed tokens, but admittedly, it is hard to find good images—a good excuse to go back through the comic, I guess—especially without intruding speech bubbles. So, I hope to find some good images of Maxim, Dimo, and Oggie for the Construct tokens, and maybe even some better clanks (Servo tokens) and airships (Thopter tokens). Until then…

Knight Ally Tokens

I needed some Knight Ally Tokens for my Allied by Oath Battle for Zendikar block deck, and I just recently finished The Riyria Revelations series by Michael J. Sullivan, which offered me some inspiration: Hadrian and Royce tokens!

Drake Tokens

I needed some Drake tokens for Talrand, Sky Summoner, which is in my Nicol Bolas Planeswalker Jousting deck, but I decided to make something a little punny:

You can probably tell what show I used to watch after school when I was a kid.

Magic: the Gathering Sporcle Quizzes

I’ve noticed that the Magic: the Gathering community does not get enough love, nor play enough, on the quiz site Sporcle. I’ve made a few quizzes for it, as have a few other afficianados, so check it out:
